RECIPE visual guidelines
One of my recent projects together with Zoï Environmental Network is to create a new visual identity for RECIPE. The RECIPE consortium — comprising four universities and three private sector partners — will assess how Switzerland’s energy transition and climate change impact energy infrastructure. They will identify risks to the economy, society, resources, and ecosystems and propose measures to enhance resilience.
The branding for RECIPE reflects the project’s mission to address the risks and opportunities of Switzerland’s energy transition and climate resilience. At its core, the design features a pattern of lines derived from the RECIPE logo, symbolizing the diverse pathways and strategies for navigating these challenges.
As a complement to this pattern is the subtle gradient background, inspired by the RECIPE color palette. This gradient provides a vibrant yet organic feel, balancing the precision of the line work with a sense of adaptability and growth, mirroring the dynamic nature of the energy and climate landscape.
I developed a graphic profile, including colors, typography, and a cohesive visual design that would be easily adaptable for social media posts, report covers, and other publications. Looking forward to seeing these insights shape Switzerland’s energy resilience!
